24th of May the construction contract was signed between Home Pietermaai District bv and BouwPartners bv.

The demolition of the old building is scheduled for this coming July. Preparations for the construction are in full swing, with 42 steel foundation piles already on their way from The Netherlands.

The construction team consists of the architectural duo De Jonge/Garmes, structural engineer Angelo Clarinda, project manager Peter Korving, and contractor Ruud van Ravesteijn.
